Buchanan Court, Harrow, London are taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning on 28 September, for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The coffee morning is an annual event by Macmillan Cancer Support and has been running since 1990 – they have raised over £200 million since its first coffee morning.

Residents and visitors will share a cuppa with friends and get to enjoy a sample of homemade cake – all available for a small donation to the charity.

Ruth Halls, home manager, said: “Taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning provides us with an opportunity to show our support to the fantastic Macmillan nurses and give thanks for all of the incredible work they do.

It also creates a lovely occasion to invite local people, family and friends to join us for a cuppa and a catch up while raising funds to support vital services Macmillan provide.”
