Kings Lodge, a care home in Camberley Surrey, hosted its own memory walk for the Alzheimer’s Society in Surrey earlier this month.

The walk took place on the same day as the rest of the county and Sandra Stock, the homes events manager, wanted to provide a smaller walk around the Surrey natural trail that surrounds the home.

Ms Stock said: “It was a shame it was raining, but it was not going to dampen our spirits.

“Residents and family members wanted to do the walk as agreed on behalf of our nominated charity – the Alzheimer’s Society.

“Specialist care for suffered of dementia is here at Kings Lodge so it was no surprise that we were still joined by so many despite the weather.”
