Person Centred Software celebrates as system is used by 1,000 care homes

Person Centred Software, a company creating administration software and has been involved in social care for over 20 years, is celebrating the 1,000th care home using their Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) system.

Longview Nursing Home in Essex, part of Runwood Homes Ltd, was the company’s 1,000th site implementation.

The 1,000 care homes using Mobile Care Monitoring now enables 30,000 users to jointly record 1.8m care notes every 24 hours throughout the UK.

In Australia and New Zealand where the company launched in 2018, nine homes are also using the system with a further 10 expected to implement the system by Easter 2019.

Jonathon Papworth, co-founder and director of Person Centred Software, said: “Person Centred Software implemented Mobile Care Monitoring at over 40 care homes every month on average during 2018.

“This is set to increase in 2019 and we are on track to double the amount of home using Mobile Care Monitoring by the end of 2019. I am extremely grateful for all the hard word of my colleagues and loyal customers who have enabled us to achieve this outstanding milestone.”

Sarah Sanders, business operations director at Runwood Homes, said: “We are very satisfied with both the implementation process and the capabilities of Person Centred Software’s Mobile Care Monitoring system. It is now being used as standard practice in a considerable number of our residential care services across the UK.

“Mobile Care Monitoring is extremely user-friendly for our professional care teams. It has streamlined care plans and care evidence records, while allowing us to remain person-centred in our care approach.

Plus, we believe the efficiency of the system has afforded our carers more time to spend with residents. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Person Centred Software as we rollout Mobile Care Monitoring to all the care homes in our portfolio,”
