Belong Care Village nominated for top award at LaingBuisson Awards

A care village operator has been shortlisted for a LaingBuisson Award for its advanced approach to dementia care.

Belong care villages act as a vibrant hub at the heart of the community and offer several services that enable the company to provide a ‘home for life’ when people begin receiving their support.

The company has been shortlisted in the ‘Innovation in Care’ category, in which nominees need to demonstrate an excellent and innovative provision of care in any setting.

They have been recognised for its innovative practices across its seven care villages, including its digital care records.

Tracey Stakes, chief executive of Belong, said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the Belong experience and so to be recognised as an innovator in the care sector is a real privilege.”

The LaingBuisson Awards celebrates and recognises individuals and organisations that demonstrate excellent services in the private, public and third sectors.

Hosting in London, the LaingBuisson Awards 2018 will take place on 15 November at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza.
