A care home team in North Walsham, Norfolk participated in a skydive in support of the residents they look after.

Six employees from Manor House took off from Beccles Airfield for the sky dive raising money for the home’s residents fund – which goes towards entertainment, events and activities.

Paula Pawsey, home manager, said: “We want to congratulate Jared, Adam, Matt, Jackie, Mags and Saara. We are all incredibly proud of you all for going way out of your comfort zones to do something wonderful for our residents.

“Raising money for our residents’ fund is really important to us, as it means we can offer those little extra things that bring a lot of happiness to people who live here. Whether it’s a boat trip on the broads, some new equipment for the garden or a performance from a local entertainer, we really enjoy arranging these opportunities, which we know means so much to our residents.”

Manor House received a ‘good’ rating the Care Quality Commission in July 2017.
