The team at a Lincolnshire care home are getting on their bikes to raise money for a children’s charity.

A group of 10-15 employees at Cedars Care Home, Bourne, Lincolnshire cycled around a 30-mile circular trek around Bourne last week to get behind the Little Miracles organisation.

Carol Preston, receptionist at Cedars Care Home, said: “It was all very exciting. It was inspired by my colleague Maureen Hasbury and it’s for an excellent cause. It was tough and very hilly so I’ve was out gearing up for it in preparation.”

The Little Miracles charity supports families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

Cedars Care Home was rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission in 2017 and is run by Cedars Health Care Limited.
