Cambridgeshire care home paw their way to dog show success

A care home in March, Cambridgeshire held a successful dog show day. The dog show was a first for Aria Court and was held in honour of Oscar the trainee Guide Dog.

Oscar has recently been sponsored by the home through the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association scheme.
Head chef and contestant Peter Bagge said: “Myself and Finley really enjoyed it. We were really pleased to win second place in most obedient. We are excited for next year and will be practicing our catching skills.”

The event has six categories including waggiest tale and best catcher – which was meet with the home buzzing with activities. Holly Savage, winner of best in show, said: “I was very shocked when Watson was announced winner by guest judge Judy Christopher.

The event took place on a beautiful day and was enjoyed by residents, relative and staff. They labelled the event as a tremendous new beginning to a new Aria Court tradition.
